Dr. Adalys Diaz is a Florida licensed Acupuncture Physician. She possesses serval degrees:

• Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine and Herbology
• Diplomate in Oriental Medicine
• Bachelor’s Degrees in Health Sciences and Economics
• Juris Doctor with an active attorney license

Dr. Adalys was a practicing attorney for more than 20 years when her 6-year-old son was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum.

His initial medical treatments was ineffective.

Some of his prescriptions turned him into a zombie-like child, while others made him even more anxious, aggressive, and impulsive. He had to be pulled out of school because of impulsive and aggressive behaviors and his doctor’s only solution was to increase the dosage.

Dr. Adalys decided to seek alternatives.

A friend referred her to a Pediatric Acupuncturist and this event changed her life.

The initial acupuncture evaluation revealed the Qi of his meridians were significantly out of balance. He started treatment with laser therapy and electro-acupuncture. In less than one month he started to feel better. His anxiety lessened and his impulsive / aggressive behavior decreased.

This experience caused Dr. Adalys to become an acupuncturist dedicated to children, teenagers, and families.

She quickly sold her law firm and enrolled in Acupuncture School.

During her studies, she obtained additional certifications:

• Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist of NADA protocol to treat addiction
• Acupuncture Injection certification to provide vitamin injection therapy

Additionally, Dr. Adalys became a Florida State Board Certified Behavior Targeted Case Manager. This training allows her to assist children diagnosed with special needs navigate Florida school system resources.

Her experience has affirmed the benefits that alternative medicine treatments can provide for a child’s mental stability.

She has attained her goal to offer effective individualized acupuncture in Palm Beach Gardens for the whole family.
